Louise Feathers Planning was established by Louise Feathers in 2011 to provide boutique planning services. Years of local experience in all types of planning, but specifically resource consents in the wider Waikato area has meant that the team at Louise Feathers Planning have developed strong relationships with Council staff, and have an in-depth working knowledge of those district plans. Of key importance is our knowledge of how rules are interpreted and applied by the respective council staff and what ‘hot’ local issues are at the forefront of town planning concerns. Put together with the different skills of our planning team means that we provide succinct and accurate advice, prepare professional applications and obtain consent approvals efficiently.
With a small yet highly experienced team of 5 we provide a personalised service, where we endeavour to make the client experience as smooth and stress free as possible by pairing our team members strength to the demands of the project. We are able to respond quickly to tight timeframes and are committed to achieving quality results in a timely and cost effective manner.
Louise has over 20 years of experience working on a number of large and small scale projects mostly within the northern half of the North Island. She has built a strong reputation with the local Councils and with clients in and around the Waikato area. Louise’s strengths and passions centre around projects of Urban Design, especially around the inner city regeneration of Hamilton, and local Heritage planning.
Charlotte joined our team in 2018. Having completed her PhD in Environmental Planning at Waikato University, Charlotte brings with her strong analytical skills and a sound knowledge of environmental legislation and policy. Her academic background is complemented by 6 years of professional planning experience gathered whilst working in the UK. Charlottes interests lie in Hazard and Risk Management particularly around flooding, coastal threats and climate change.
Jodi joined our team in July 2015. She is responsible for the administrative tasks needed in order to keep the office running smoothly.
